Description
This image began as a photograph of a burned out forest. I couldn't help but wonder how many animals die in forest fires. They say that birds fly away etc., but there are nests and those babies cannot leave. Other young animals are not able to run fast enough as are small animals.
Although forest fires have always been around, they are becoming more frequent as global warming heats up.
There are the spirits of 15 animals in this image. Some were photographed in the wild-- others were rescued by me in various situations.
